I have seen some brand new, in the box pumps, electronic on ebay for £22 are they any good as i really dont fancy paying £50 for one, well its Gals money you see and he wouldnt be happy paying that either, any feedback would be fab, thankyou :D

I expressed quuite alot but had a manual breast pump and never had a problem with it - I think it was about £5 on ebay.

what make are they? If you google it you should get some reviews.

ooo didnt remember the make, i had a manual last time and couldnever seem to get much out, i had bad suply though so may have been why i guess

how much you can get out is not indicitive of your supply. I hardly get anyhting out yet have plenty of milk. there isn't much difference between an electric or manual (unlessyou have one of the hospital strength ones) but if you are expressing a lot an electric one will save your hand.

i didnt have great suply anyways though, thats why i had to give up bf, i think maybe i was using it wrong then, its s shame really because if i cant bf id love to atleast give expressed milk instead of formula, kudos to thos who bf for months, wish i could have done it x

because hope would feed for 30secs then pull away and scream, she did this after 5 weeks of feeding, she never seemed full, was my only explination for it :( could i have been wrong

sorry hun, I'm not trying to make you feel like you did wrong, I am just trying to help. I don't know about your supply but there were things that might have helped (you could have a slow let down and Hope was being really impatient about getting milk out, she could have had thrush making her mouth sore etc etc) but you didn't have that info at the time and you have done what was right for you

If you want to try again (and I personally would as each baby is different) then this time you'll have a forum full of mums that will give advise and support you no matter what rote you take)

oh no dont worry you didnt  Tbh i didnt get much help from the hv at that time and i didnt even think to ask on here  It just makes me more determined this time, im hoping having an electric will help me express more, my hands get cramp in them easy. All in all i hope it works out better, i know whaere to go for advise now if i need it so should be alot easier :)
