Yesterday Brody was teething really badly, and had a white spot, almost like a blister, appear on his top gum.
I didn't want him to have to chew anything so for his tea I have him 2 yoghurts and a bit of custard.

Today he has point blank refused to let ANY savory in his mouth. I know he's hungry, but I'm sitting here with him screaming and a full bowl of savory for him :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall:

Anyone lese had this problem? What did you do!??!

Coby went through this phase.

I just gave him his pudding first so he was calm then gave him the savory after.

then after a week or so he took teh savory first coz he was used to it again

Hi Urchin

Have you tried mixing the sweet and savoury together? Emilia posted some nice mixes a while ago.

Does he take the sweeter savory food such as butternut squash/sweet potato etc?

I hope Brody starts eating his savoury soon!

Willl have to try something like that thanks....I'm not sure if it's the lumps or the taste he doesn't like...but he used to love it ....will have to try again today...just ended up giving up in the end yesterday, I know that's the wrong thing to do but when you want them to have a full tummy to go to sleep on what more can you do? He sleeps terribly as it is!

i wne through this when i first ever weaned Dior big mistake she used to have rusks then rice pudding then fruit puddings then when she was ready for 3meals a day i tryed her with A JAR OF DINNER :shakehead: no way was she having it, i tryed every thing then after a month i was told to not feed her till she would take a dinner it was so hard but the HV reasured me that no baby ha ever died through starving themselves

i went through it too with Hassan, so I used to give him a teaspoon tip of formage frais and then a full teaspoon of savoury and so on till he finished his portion!!! Cruel I know but it had to be done!!!

How's it going Urchin??

Rubie's not very good with pureed veg, so I mix apple puree in with all her veg and she eats it!!
