Eeeeee im so excited!!!!!!

Ok i just cant contain myself any longer... im approx 14weeks and 5days pregnant and ive had some little issues regarding the dating scan. At first i was waiting for an appointment and then i finally gave in waiting after a few weeks and one hadnt been made so it was made over the phone for Tues 14th June..... i had to cancel this myself as the BF has just started a new job on Monday he is working funny shifts and i was able to change it for Monday 20th.... it turns out that day wasnt suitable after he realised he worked his shift out wrong so i called the hospital today explained and apologised and obviously said i cant have the scan without him there but i have to work around his shift pattern


I am so happy relieved and thankful they have gave me a cancelled appointment for tommorow morning at 10:15am


EEEEEEE im so excited i could actually wee.... or that could just be another one of many normal trips needed for the toilet lol

you will need to wee tomorrow too... with full bladder and nurse pushing on it!!!... all worth it though hon!!! so chuffed for you! i have 4 weeks till my next one and it seems like forever away!!! xxx

its felt forever just getting to this scan ive got quite a strong bladder so i should be fine having to hold it in for a while.
Do you know how much they recommend to drink and how long before the scan it should be consumed? i want to do everything i can to get the best picture possible

I just bought a bottle of water and drank it on the way and while I was waiting, good luck and enjoy

I did my last wee about 45 mins before the scan time, i wasnt waiting long at the hospital so it wasnt too bad... i drank a whole bottle of water after my last wee and my scan was clear enough x

my letters always say 2 pints of water an hour before.... but then i always get told to empty my bladder a half way when i get in there!! xxx

That's great news you'll be so excited you won't sleep tonight lol!!! I just drank a bottle of water about an hour before and finished it off in the waiting room then got told to empty my bladder when I got in as it was too full!!! So you don't need much!
