I have got some information on the EAT study on weaning and allergies through the post this morning

http://www.eatstudy.co.uk/

Has anyone else had this?
What do you recon?

hi! thanks for the bras they are great!!

reading this article just proves to me theres no right or wrong way of doing it honey, i really am a big believer in if the child needs more food, feed it! we all know that they try and tell us breast is best, and i guess it just doesnt work for some people! dont know if my input has been worth anything lol x

I looked into it too, but I haven't exclusively breastfed my LO so can't take part in the study. We've just started introducing food although staying clear of the dairy etc. What are your thoughts?

I really don't know, part of me (the nurse I guess) says I should take part, the mother in me says no, and also the first stuff I give him I want to be made by me so I know what is in it... The thought of giving him peanut butter makes me cringe...

you can drop out of the study at any time, so if it gets to a point where you think that you want to give something else, you could just give it and inform them that youve dropped out.

I considered it but realised cos morgan wasnt exclusively breast fed I wasnt eligeable. Im not sure how Id feel about the allergy test either. the picture of that child having his arm held down while they prick his skin makes me shudder, even though he's smiling, I cant imagine Morgan smilin gthrough that, I hate the vaccinations as it is!!
