Easyjet rip off *******s

we have tickets booked to fly to spain with the kids in August, well my mil booked them for us and did mine in my married name (rightly so) but my passport is still in my previous name so we were told i could still fly in my old passport if we change the name on the ticket so we rang easyjet and they said it is a cost of £20 which we thought was cool. We are then told it is actually classed as a new booking and would be over £100, how can it be a name change and a new booking, its 2 different things, wtf are the playing at.

We stopped flying them a while back when they became more expensive to fly to Holland (OH is Dutch) than KLM.

They're charging you an admin fee plus the difference in fare between when it was booked and what a ticket would cost. Exact same thing happened to one of my friends flying to Malaga with them I think it was and she didn't realise until she got to the airport. She never got anything back because it's in the small print. They suck.

OMG you're kidding? I remember at one point I got a return ticket to Amsterdam for £26.50. It would cost me that in all their add-ons now.

OMG you're kidding? I remember at one point I got a return ticket to Amsterdam for £26.50. It would cost me that in all their add-ons now.

Yeah we paid 20 swiss francs for each suitcase we took but now it seems to have changed to 14chf. discount

I have changed our flights twice and each time it has cost me £37.50, I do it online and I was checking everyday untill the price was £0.00 then we only had to pay for the admin fees which works out cheaper than paying over £100 for more on the flights and then the time change. Also its £10 cheaper to do it online hun, it may be per person but not sure (its stated on the website)

What part of Spain you going to? we're flying out on the 31st July to Spain, we're staying in Torrevieja.

Also does anyone know how much it costs to check in at the airport? Only we can't check in online because we're gonna have hand luggage and I know it costs but not sure how much

If you book online then you pay for your cases online too but when you get to the check in and they weigh your cases, if they are over the 20 kilos then you pay per kilo at the desk.

If you do a practice booking online, just start one but dont complete it, then you get to see all the charges and things that they ask you for. Then you can stop it before you have to comfirm or pay.

I have made an appointment to go and get my passport the same day, its costing £114 but i will have it for 10yrs and will need it anyway.

Works out cheaper to do that then, still expensive tho.
