How would i charge for doing others Ironing?

A friend of mine has asked if i'd do hers and i know others who'd be interested how would i go about charging?

What seems reasonable to you?

 my MIL does mine for free but I know a woman local to me charges £7.50 an hour and apparantly she's pretty quick :D

Price per item??

I have no idea what the going rate is for a pair of trousers.I think that is the fairest way.

I don't know whether to charge per item, per basket or per hour...

I love ironing i find it quite enjoyable - God i'm sad

I hate doing the stuff, i generally dont iron  im such a scruffy lazy cow

Ive think ive seen people charge by the bag.

Like a big Ikea bag or a Tesco bag for life, not sure how much you would charge.

Maybe you should time yourself at doing your own ironing.
See how much you can do in an hour, say a bag full and then decide an hourly rate

My friend reckons £10 per hour or for a full basket. I think that's quite reasonable.

I'd charge per item or per hour/half hour tbh.....

After all, it's amazing how much washing I can fit into a basket

one of the mums at school charges £15 per bin bag, £20 if its crammed to the top.
