I had my ears pierced when I was a couple weeks away from being 3. I kept on and on about it to my mum so she gave in eventually. I remember having it done vividly, because I was so excited it's stuck in my memory. It didn't hurt cos I had my ear lobes frozen.
My sister had both her daughters ears pierced at 6 months, thats too young IMO but it's down to personal choice, I don't like seeing babies with pierced ears but each to their own.
If I have a girl I won't be piercing her ears until she's old enough to ask for it.
