LO won't go down in her Moses basket to sleep...she'll sleep if OH or I are holding her, which means we can't get anything done as one of us always has to be holding her?

I've tried putting her down on settee/rug on floor but just the same!

During the night she sleeps from 11pm-6am in her moses basket straight through, which at 4 weeks we can't complain at.....I was just hoping someone would have some suggestions for during the day?!

Thanks ladies xxx

Have you tried swaddling? Or putting something in the Moses basket that smells of you? It could just be that during the day she wants the closeness! I was advised to roll up a towel into a U shape under the bed sheet So it went round her head and shoulders, it helps them feel a bit more snuggly! Do you have a bouncer? Mine used to take most of their daytime naps in there and it was fab as you could rock them to sleep!

Hey, ah thanks chick I'll try some of those! She hates swaddling as generally hates being covered by anything lol even a blanket!

I'll defo try the others tho! Thank you...I mean I love cuddles with her but sometimes would be nice to just have a shower or put some washing on lol x

George did this for a while and I spent a lot of time with him asleep on me in his sling so at least I had my hands free and could get on with stuff.

Ooo yea slings are a fantastic invention! It's so hard isn't it, you want to sit and cuddle, but that little break is so precious!

Ooow yeah didn't think of that! Thank u Ill have a look online ;)

Thanks girlies xx
