Hi. Im 6 weeks today and have a really dull ache, i have spoken to the doctor who assured me its my insides preparing and the baby grows rapidly over the next few weeks and everythings fine as no blood ect.

I was just wondering is anyone else aching? X

I've had lots of strange aches and pains for first few weeks definitely, and heard lots of people do, so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about! I think as long as there is no blood the doctors won't really do much as aches are very normal during pregnancy. Hope you're ok!

Yep. Aches and pains are normal in early pregnancy, and really common too. As the doctor says, as long as they aren't accompanied by blood everything should be OK. If the pains get so strong that paracetamol doesn't help, then I'd speak to the doctor/midwife/early pregnancy unit.

Congratulations on your pregnancy xxx

Hi Stacey, I've had a dull ache in my groin for 2-3 weeks. I mentioned it to the doc and she just brushed it off as "one of those pregnancy things" and wasn't concerned at all. So I guess it's just the body stretching and getting used to your little occupant:-) x

Yep me too. Have had an ache on my right side since 4 dpo. Comes and goes and sometimes more twingey that achey but never 'pain' as such

I had dull aches and stabby right sided pains. This then got accompanied by brown bleeding. Was referred for EPAC and everything was fine. Got to see the little squidge's heart fluttering. If you're worried get it checked. It decreased my anxiety and stress so much by doing so. Now I can just enjoy the non stop nausea I'm having. I'm 6 weeks 3 days today. Hope this helps.

I had a little bit of an ache too. I think aslong as this pain doesn’t get progressively worse all should be ok. If you’re worried get yourself checked out.
