Hi all,
FTM and due tomorrow. Went to my midwife today and my baby is still not engaged - has never been engaged yet . Was so convinced they might be at least a bit engaged as been feeling lots of pressure on my cervix. So who knows what that has been/is!
Am back on Monday to see if they can do a sweep then as they wouldn't do one today (notes say baby on brim). What are your experiences with not being engaged by this stage? I've been looking at the spinning babies website. I've been walking, sleeping on my side with pillows propping up my leg since week 28 (helped my PGP pain), I bounce on my ball for hours a day, been leaning over the ball with knees on the floor, pelvis rotations... You name it - I'm doing it!!! Am just a bit nervous - why isn't baby engaging!? Is my pelvis not big enough/too big (allowing them in and out), will I ever go into labour naturally!? Will I need a c-section if they don't engage?
Just wonder if any of you ladies have been in a similar position and ended up with nice uncomplicated labours !?
TIA xx
