Due 9th April - Pregnancy buddy due beg April??

Hi Hun! I'm due 31st march, went for an early scan and they said I could be due 3rd April, but waiting for my 12 week scan to set a proper date!! So exciting isn't it?? Is this your first? Xx

Hey hun!

My midwife gave me my due date, but when I have my 12 weeks scan I will prob get a different date, are the early scans expensive I really want one but OH would rather wait until the 12 weeks.
This is my first I am so excited! Is it your first?
How have you been feeling with your pregnancy? When I hit week eight I have been getting awful skin, but going on holiday for a week on Tuesday so hopefully the sun may help it! xx

I wasn't sure of my last period as I came off the pill and got preg straight away so they sent me for an early scan! I think if you go private it's about £100? It was so worth it though, saw little ones heart beat! Was good! Feels like ages ago now though!

I have been feeling rough! Had bad skin too, but it's cleared up this last week! I've been quite lucky really, been feeling sick but never actually thrown up and just really tired all the time!! Yeah this is my first too! I am so excited this site is so good too, whenever I am worried about something I come on here and everyone is lovely!

Hi!! I am due April 8th!! Although now have scan date for 26th Sept so this might change. Have resisted the urge for an early scan so far but it seems like ages to wait!! I feel terrible. Really sick all day everyday. And am also starting to get v tired all the time. Think part of the reason I feel so awful today is that we went to a friend's wedding yesterday and I think just being out from 10am til midnight has done me in! Have you thought about anything like names yet? Will you find out what it is??

I haven't got any official dates yet, but by my own calculations i think i'm going to be due in April. Still feels so far away yet but people keep telling me that time will fly by! It's a great idea to try and chat with people who are going to be going through similar things at similar times. Is this your first pregnancy? Good luck xxx

Going by my lmp im due 9th of april too but also awaiting the confirmed date with my scan on 28th sept.
iv been really tired and could sleep all day to be honest. sickness side of things, i feel sick a hell of alot and have been sick a handful of times too. dry heaving is the worst, that hurts x x

I can't wait to get my scan date through, ive been doing lots of them fun quizzes to guess whether im havin g a boy or girl. I can't wait to find out asI am not finding that many unisex clothes and want to know so I can start planning room colours etc as I can be very fussy and take ages. But I suppose in another light I am being selfish and impatient and all I should worry about is that my little bean is healthy xxx

I'm the same though! Can't wait to find out what I am having!! Feel like it's a boy, but always wanted a girl so hoping it's a girl still in a selfish way! I have 5 brothers, so will be nice to have some girl company for a change xx

Hi All,

How are we all feeling?

I don't know about anyone else but been down in the dumps recently I feel like a right miserable cow, my excitement is dying down as my mother in law is in 5th gear mode bugging me to hell. She said she will buy all the toiletries so I don't need to buy any, she will buy all the nappies so I don't need to buy any, chosen the high chair for her house, the bouncer, and on about buying OUR moses basket.
I am sorry but she has had her baby she needs to back off and let us enjoy it, OH of course is a mum's boy so daren't say anything to her......frustrating but no way do I have the energy to argue ha

A rant I know, anyone else MIL getting like this? xxx

As we are all around the same due date, I thought it would be fun and exciting for us all to conduct all the tests for the old wives tales for what we are having, post them on here and then we find out we can compare the results and see if any are right!!!

Hello

I'm due any time between March 28th and April 3rd (depending on who I'm talking to!) but hopefully all will be revealed at 12 week scan on 23rd Sept. Hurrah!

In terms of 'symptoms' I've been feeling sick and tired and very emotional. In fact this week I've been a right cow to OH - poor thing just left me alone yesterday evening.

I had an early private scan 2 weeks ago (cost £75) and it was amazing to see the little one and hear the heatbeat so if you are curious you can see a fair amount at 9 weeks. Looking forward to the 12 week one though as will def see more.

I've got my first midwife appointment this week so pleased about that too... have tons of questions for her.

AndreaJayne I had an ex - MIL from hell (my 'new' MIL is great - thank God), so I know how you feel about buying the bits and OH not saying much - my best piece of advice is to try and ignore it as much as you can. Next time she says something like "I'm getting X for you" I'd be inclined to politely reply something along the lines of "Thank you for the offer, but I've already seen one I would like and have reserved it online" or something like that - she'll soon get the hint. Plus you might also be feeling a little sensitive - I know I am, people only have to look at me sideways and I either shout or cry! I cried over a bacon sandwich on saturday - how mad is that! lol
