Driving myself crazy! Spotting..

Hi there

Well now 7 weeks pregnant and still spotting issues. Long story cut short i had a scan at the maternity hospital last Sunday and there was a heartbeat. No explaination for my spotting but saw a 2mm cyst on one of my ovaries.
After lunch in town today felt pain in stomach and went to toilet and I am sure I saw orange / piniish discharge. Head back home and just back to brown. Cramp could be my crohns after eating but who knows.
I panicked and called the helpline at the matty hospital. They said to come in for a scan tomoro morning and that it may just be my cervix etc..Just hope everything is ok and that i find out what is causing this spotting which has mainly been brown.
So scared. Anyone been through anything similar? Xx

I was the same i have it on and off all the time even had pink on 2 occasions i just put it down to the changes in the cervix cos i felt abit achey down there had a few like growing pains myself im so used to endo pain being on the floor though so i find it hard to judge get them to take a low and high cervical swab and a urine test could be a little bit of an infection but i wouldnt drive urself too mad xx

Hi. I had pain & spotting at 5 weeks. Ended up in the EPU with suspected ectopic but after a scan, everything was OK. I went back for a scan at 7 weeks to confirm there was a hb & they could see no reason for a bleed. I began cramping & spotting again the next day.

They thought the internal scan at the EPU could have irritated my cervix causing the pain & bleed. They didn't want to see me again.

I had more pains from week 7 to week 9 & paid for an early scan. Everything again was OK & I had my dating scan Thurs last week with a healthy baby. I'm now 12+1.

Spotting & cramping does not always mean something bad. Brown is old blood & even though you're made to believe bleeding is bad, it's just so common.

Thank you for ur responses. Got a scan and all good. They believe it is my uterus just expanding. Had midwife today which went well.xxxx

So glad all is well for you!! Exciting got my midwife tmoro ready for the info hopefully get my 12 week scan aswel i dont want to keep going for scans cos with having endo and adenomyosis i hate internals they are so uncomfy and i bleed after dont think its good i have had so much done colposcopys hysteroscopys pre cancerous cells removed its time up there had a rest seen as im going to be pushing something out in 7 months haha Xx
