Dopplers.....

Hi all

I had a midwife appointment today and listened to babies heart beat for frist time only problem is the OH wasnt with me and now he is so keen to hear it!! Bless I think he hates missing out on anything.

I was wondering if anyone had any advise on which one I should purchase and if they work

I would recommend the angelsounds one off ebay. Dont even consider getting a summer fetal listening device (its rubbish)

Ive got an angel sounds as well as they had the best reviews and they arent that expensive. Mine was £20 from ebay! You also get a lead with it so you can record it to your computer!!

Good price and also has the digital display so shows your Babies BPM on the display rather than you having to count (comes with gel as well).

Works very well, although havent used it since 20 weeks as I feel him moving constantly now, which is better than me listening for his heartbeat.

Yeah ive heard bab's heartbeat. Was amazing the first time! infact its still amazing now!!

yeah we are planning on finding out the sex at the next scan which is booked for November are you planning on finding out the sex???

The doppler is one of the best things I have ever bought its amazing to hear babes heartbeat!

We both wanted to find out which im so pleased about. We both didnt at first and then changed our minds at the same time, thank god!!

I know my OH has often felt left out as well get all the attention from hospital family etc. Was nice to just have 10 mins on our own hearing the babs heartbeat!!!

Im feeling not to bed at the min but I have good days and bad days. I seem to have afew days of energy use it and then pay for it for a day or two ive got cold as well which doesnt help when you cant take anything for it! Im exhausted ALL the time and alot of the time feel like im sleep walking lol

How about you how are you feeling apart from sleepy??

Ive just looking on the scan dates and EDD dates thread and our 20 week scan is also on the same date! how freaky

I am ok just been feeling quite sick after i reached 12 weeks! my OH was a bit concerned but just been resting!

I definately agree though about listening to the herat beat he will love it! Cant wait to let him hear it now!

OMG how freeky is that? Its nice though because we are on the same date!

Hi

Ive got the angel sounds too and i heard babies heartbeat from just after 12 weeks, it is absolutely amazing. I managed to put my mobile phone microphone next to the headphones and recorded it on my phone so that i could send it to babies dad, he was well chuffed
