Don't buy Christmas cards - Donate instead

My friend set this up last year after Christmas when people really liked what she did. It made me think so this year instead of buying cards and stamps I will be donating to a good cause, not sure which yet.

What about you?

Do you already donate instead of sending Christmas cards?

It sounds like an interesting idea, although I will be sending cards as most of my family are the type that expects a card and for some its the only contact we have is the yearly Christmas card and news letter with an updated school photo of J. Good call though for those who can.make it happen.x

I have never heard of this.. im going to have a read! i send cards just because, well no reason really.

I donated to roy castle lung cancer charity instead of xmas cards as my Fil was diagnosed with lung cancer last year (unfortunately he passed away in May ) but I will donate to charity again this year too.

We did this at work last year, instead of buying loads of cards to go round the office and clutter up everyone's desks we all chipped in and donated a load of money to a local charity which we all voted on

This year we are buying all of our cards for the c.f charity that collects for our unit
