Don't breastfeed huuuuge babies

Every 1 1/2 hour -2 hours the booby assault begins, even at night

He will have a 3 hour nap around midday but other than that i might as well start mooing because I do nothing other than feed him. My poor nipples are going to go on strike, especially as his new trickis to use them as straws

He can smile now, which is lovely, except i never get to see it as he is always grizzling for his next feed

You poor thing, how much does he weigh? If its any consolation the feeds are shorter and quicker when they are older as they are more efficient at getting the milk out. I have seen my boob deflate before my eyes in 10 minutes flat! Everyone told me to hang in there and I did.. though I did top him up with SMA after each breast feed because he is so big and hungry I couldn't cope very well at first.

he was 11-4 last week - he is a really quick feeder tbh but just doesn't want to come off. I think I am being used as a dummy as well - and as we speak he has just started grizzling for a feed - I was feeding him when I typed the first post!

I had to give up after 3 weeks cos my humungus baby had eroded my nipples away to nearly nothing!!

haha I know what you mean. Alex was over 10lbs at birth, and here he is 8 months later still breastfeeding. I have almost no feeling in my nipples now they're like toughened leather lol

My sister's LO was 10lb at birth and has hardly been off the boob in the last 7 months! She's a gorgeous big chunky girl now and still LOVES her booby.
