Dog...ARRRRGGGHHH!!!

I'm sooo angry!!!!

I put in some new rose plants and other plants at the weekend and my oh put in log roll to make the borders nice and neat...the dog has only gone and dug ALL of the plants up and eaten them hasn't he. There is compost all over the garage (that's where he sleeps). I feel like crying AND he's gone and pooed on a really nice plant...he never does this usually.

Thats not good Im a mad gardener and I would be gutted if my animal done that. Would the dog react different if the plants were on tubs? Or if there was bark round the plants. I dont have a dog so I dont know much about them.

Thanks for your reply! We've just dug out a border so don't really want to have to use tubs yet. He'd eat bark...he eats anything. Only 10 months old. Such a nightmare!!

Sounds like a young dog who noticed that there was some new things in the garden and thought they needed to be dug back out. Things like that happen alas. Hopefully he'll settle down as he gets more used to the changes going on in the garden.
