I'm just wondering what exactly counts as having irregular periods. I've just looked back over the last year and here are my cycle length;

35, 33, 40, 39, 28, 28, 28, 32, 31, 29, 33

I came off the pill in 2002 so does this mean i naturally have irregular periods...or are these fluctuations within normal ranges :|

I wouldn't class them as irregular... recently found out that I suffer from irregular periods (it does have a proper medical name, but I can't remember what it is) and the term irregular periods generally applies to people who can have no idea when to expect a period. For example, I spent 5 months having a period every other week and now I have gone 11 weeks without a period! You aren't regular as clock work like some people, but your cycle seems normal as it is on average about 30 days.

Make sense? Or am I waffling? :?

Thanks Luvvie

makes perfect sense!! couldn't find anything anywhere that actually stated what irregular is.....now i feel more reassured.

i wouldnt say thats irregular. Mine go from 24 days to 42 days after coming off the pill lol :wall:
