if you are claiming maternity allowance if u have to wait til the 39 weeks its paid for ends before returning to work? or can u go back before it ends? confused x

Can go back before it ends I think, but with my company you have to give 8 weeks notice

with maternity allowance if you earn any money within the 39 weeks you have to declare it. I'm sure you can return toi work but it will effect your allowance. I'm not sure about smp.

hi yes if u return to work they would stop paying your MA. u can have 10 days to go back in to get ready called KIT days. but after they have been used they would end your MA
