I lost my baby 6 weeks ago at 5 weeks and its been 6 weeks now, the question i have is that i bled like a normal period when i was losing my little one and then had a bleed 28 days later which was a very light flow compare to my normal one and mostly brown, which i know is old blood, and i use to be between 24-26 day cycles will they go back to normal this month of being my usual 24-26 day cycle? or will it just come back at 28 days again?.

Its very confusing lol, we have been trying to concieve since the loss, and it only been 6 weeks.

So any advice, experice ect welcome :)

Hi hon, sorry for your loss. My AF was 29 days after my mc and was heavier than normal with clots but only lasted 3 days instead of my usual 6-7. I then gor pregnant next cycle. I would take it that you have had AF as you have had the right sort of cycle length before you bled. Hope that helps xxx

Hi Denise, after my D&C at 11, plus 5 , I had my first period 28 days later, (we had started trying, but think we missed the window as think my ovulation day had moved!) We tried agin the next month, aiming as OV at 14 days std for 28 day cycle, and then stopped and joined 2WW, then I notticed EWCM about 4 days later , which the girls in TTC had been talking about as a precursor to OV, and so we tried again two more days and fell pregnant. so I would say watch out for your body changing and signs , as mine must have been stronger after the MC, as I had never had that before. At a dating scan I lost a week from y LMP Period dates, due to late ovulation!! (so it all matches). Perhaps try those OPK kits too, I was going to the next month if no luck to try and work out my new cycle.

wishing you all the luck with TTC and hope you get a BFP really soon X

Cycles can change after a MC, however mine went back to a 28 day cycle, or they did for the first AF, I started using OPK's and O'ed on day 14, a few days earlier than my body was trying to previously and the rest is as they say history... they say you are more fertile after a MC so aim for the middle of the cycle I would say...

GL hun :dust:

I think its all been said honey, my cycle was always all over the place and difficult to track, but I want to wish you lots of luck xx
