Ok so the story is, i was made redundant in august, I have quite bad PND and am under a psychiatrist, now i really dont feel able to work yet, My last month of maternity pay is at the end of january. I was wondering if there would be anything i could claim for this??

we get child benefit and child tax credit, OH is a police officer and so we dont get working tax credits. Hes said he only needs to do 20 hours of overtime which is readily available and we should be alright, but i dnt want to have to rely on over time which isnt a guarantee.

Anyone no??

If not ill take a trip to CAB in the new year.

the rules and benefit have changed since i dealt with them so i really dont know wether you'd qualify. i'd ring the advice line at DWP and ask though.

I had a look at that last night, seems rather confusing with them changing the names and not giving any amounts out
