Doctor worthy?

Hey,

Sophia had a bit of a pukey incident yesterday. About two hours after her bottle, and I think I'd fed her as well, she threw up a lot, and it smelt like puke (sorry, tmi). It was really horrid for both of us and it went everywhere, including up her nose which she really didn't like.

I got her in the bath which calmed her down and has been fine since, until just now when she's thrown up a bit again. It was a normal amount that I wouldn't usually worry about, except for yesterday's incident, plus it also smelt pukey, which it doesn't normally.

Is this normal for babies and it's just she hasn't done it before, or should I take her in?

Hun, you know her the best so if you're worried, go. Never feel bad about taking your LO to the doctor. Much better to be safe than sorry xxx

Charley's sick stunk when he had gastrenitlitus. So she might have a bug. If you are worried though, give your doc a call x.

Has she had vaccinations recently? Ella had smelly puke for a while after hers x

Yeah if your worried go, although my LO is always sick at least once a day out his nose and everything, HV and doc said not to worry, thats just how he is. My mum said i was the same projectile everywhere

When i took layla when she was sick turned out she had a chest infection,
My doc said theyre happy to see babies that are well thancto miss a poorly one, cos u feel like a hypocondriact (sp?)

Like the others said, u kno her best, if ur worried i would go

Thanks everyone. I did take her in the end and it turns out she's got a bit of tonsalitis. It's not bad enough for medicine, but does explain things.

We both had our seperate 6 week check up last week with the same doctor, I'm glad this time it was another one! (And she has her on on him already )
