Do you need sheets etc in your pram?

This may seem like a stupid question but do you need a mattress and sheets in your pram? The prams that I have ( have 2 as 1 for smart and 1 for out on the farm and doing the horses) the posh one has a cosy thing that baby lies in that is thick and warm where as the other one doesnt have anything just the pram lining?

The cosy thing is washable but I dont know if you need sheets etc underneath?
Im really confused. Please help. Thanks.

Hey there, our silver cross had a removable insert so we.didn't use sheets. Can't be.much more help but usually I don't think you do need them? X
