And looks like he eats so well too, I love to watch kids enjoying their food.

yeah, i think the cheapest we saw was £160, we need bunks eventualy anyway and when we looked they cost the same as the cot bed so we went ahead and got the bunks now. made more sense

When he starts pulling himself up isn't there a chance he could climb out?

yeah but only on to our bed, once he starts doing that we will move it right next to our bed and put a bed gaurd on the end.

Ethan hated his cot so he went in to a bed when he was 3 months old, we did the same with him and it was ok, just climbed on us every morning to wake us up

i think that liam is going to need a big bed soon, he turns round in the night and his head hits the bars and his legs come out the gaps. we had a cot bed for the other two but it broke

was going to get a car bed for liam, but joshua wants it and he wants liam to have his bunk bed. but we dont want to put liam in with the boys yet as he doesnt sleep through, dilemma.

I worry the same as kim, he will fall out and constantly be climbing out of the bed. i couldn't do that with Ewan i like our bed room to be mine and hubbys now that Ewan is in his own room. if i had a bed like that i would be sat with him half the night holding him in to the bed, cos he would just stand up and crawl out.

Fair play to you if it works out great, but ewan has his cot bed, and i can put him in it, go down stairs and know that he will be safe, he gets his legs through the bars every now and again, and if he wakes up he will play in there and then lay down again - if it had no sides id never be able to leave him to settle on his own.

none taken, i know a few people here dont agree with the way i parent but i know it works for my kids, everyone is different so its all cool.

Ethan went in to a bed coz he hated his cot, and because it wa all he knew he was good, never tried to climb out, never fell off, he could only climb over to us anyway as he had bed gaurds, coby will too.

where as when charlie went in to a bed she was up and down in and out all the time coz she was so used to haveing a cot that it was a novelty for her to be able to move about, it was a night mare at first.

kieran went in a big bed at about 2 and joshua was only a few months as he hated the bars on the cot bed. he was fine. still didnt sleep much though

my uncle had the same problem as you did with charlie, when he put his 2yr old into a bed, it was such a novelty to be able to get out of bed that she wouldnt go to sleep until about 11 she was out of the bed all the time, whereas when she was in her cot she was asleep for 8.

At least with coby you wont have that problem becuase he's been used to a bed from early on!

Iv never known a thread in in pictures and stories to make 3 pages I dont think lol.

i know the feeling bubbleone gave ewan rice and tuna all mixed together, he didn't like it even though the rice was soft - proceeded to scream and then inhale the rice then scream some more!!! mixed it with some mashed sweet potatoe for tea and he ate it all.
