Did you buy a pregnancy book? Too early?

I love going to the bookstore. Especially now, I'd love to go and browse through the pregnancy/mummy section. But I feel it's too early.... Then again until I find out if all is OK, I'll already have missed a few weeks.

You think it's OK to get a book anyway? Anyone feel they didn't want to jinx it?

Not at all! It's great for info and everything!

My personal view is that it's never too early

xx

I got some books at about 8weeks the best thing is too think positive your babes safe and so are you, if you think good buy what you like and don't think your tempting fate all the things are so fun!!! Especially in the first few weeks because its all new and you have never had the chance before! :D I would buy away,,,sadly if something is going to happen then its not because you brought a book.

The internets great if your not sure your ready to buy books just yet.

Have you got a library anywhere near you? They'll have loads of books (including ones with cheesy 80's hair and clothes  ) and it at least gives you time to look through them and decide what books you'd like to own.

But tbh if you want a book and you've found one you like go and buy it. I've had one since before I fell pregnant, and it has a section on conceiving, all the stages of pregnancy and is great for looking at if I'm worried about anything. And a good book will last you for all of your pregnancies if you have more after this, so I wouldn't worry about the tempting fate thing.

BY the way the worrying does wear off abit as your pregnancy progresses
