Did I miss the boat...?

So I have been using the cheap OPK strips since cycle day 10 (most days) and every day coming back negative, last one of those I did was Sunday and it was very negative.... Then I missed Monday, and Tuesday I thought to myself must be very close to O based on other cycles so I’ll break out the CB Digital ones... it came back big fat no, but when I popped the stick out of the reader it was a good line but no control (some bunched up dye at the edges only)...

I didn’t have time to use a cheapie as I had to get to work, and OH was working away Tuesday night anyway... so I test yesterday morning and it’s a big fat smiley face, skipped the flashing stage completely! But again when I popped the stick out it looked the same (in fact the test line looked even darker) but again no control. Typically OH was still away till late last night when we finally got to dtd.

So my question, do we think I was too late then? He’s away again tonight so I can’t dtd again to make sure... if you've read all this I apologise for my rambling but thank you x

Hey, I’m on day 28 today but I’m really irregular cycle wise so my average length is about 39 days or so...

ah right, so usually I get my peak 14 days before my period. so thats usually CD13, for you it would be CD25 when you get your peak. If you get your period on CD39 than you might have missed your peak but maybe your period will be delayed this month. Maybe just relax this month go with the flow still BD, you never know...

I think I may have a short luteal phase too, about 10-11 days... last month I had Peak OPK on day 26 and AF turned up on day 37...

Think it’s mainly a waiting game now, will test on day 40 if no AF has arrived
