DH wetting the babies head tonight!

DH is going out with the lads tonight to wet Jacob's head - Jacob is now 8 weeks old!! I feel pretty p****d off to be honest, I have just had to cope with 2 nights on my own looking after J while DH was on nights. One of the nights was really bad as J had colic and wouldn't stop screaming, my mum came round till 1am to help me!!! It is bugging me that he will be out getting drunk enjoying himself while I am looking after J - I am breastfeeding so can't have a good drink myself and can't go out cos feeding him on demand. At least I have got BB to watch!!!

My OH will probably be the same, he;s all i'll help with changing the nappies, feeding (as i'm bottle feeding), etc but i just know that it'll all go out the window when LO gets here as his brother was exactly the same when his 2 kids came along!

Try not to let it get to you too much hun xxx

I know that's what is stressing me out! If I have a good night and J goes to sleep, I won't mind as much, but if I am sitting there with a grouchy baby knowing that DH is out on the p*** enjoying himself I will be well wound up!

Just you arrange to go out with the girls one nite to wet buba's head. Afterall you are the one that was pg for 9 months, gave birth to J, looks after him most, so fairs fair.

Jacob was an absolute star last night, went to sleep at 10.30 and didn't wake for his first feed till 4.50pm!!! DH slept in the spare room and I didn't even hear him come in. He is working today overtime so I don't have to look at his tired hungover face either!!!!!!!!

Glad the evening worked out ok in the end, and least he didn't come home and climb in to bed with you blind drunk and then try it on!
Glad baby behaved him self, you feel so helpless when they won't stop crying i've often ended up balling my eyes out with him at that age, and my hubby has come home from work to find me and bubba bawling, at wwhich point he would tell me to go get a bath.!! and he would take Ewan for an hour whilst i chilled!

Its crap isn't it. I remember when OH went out on his when Seren was about 2 week old, he got absolutley hammered, Seren was grouchy all night, and the next day he didn't get up til 2pm and was sick all day. I have only just started talking to him

Im glad teh ngiht turned out okay in the night you will have to get out on your own somtime soon, i didnt go out till Kiara was 5 months old but the deal was we can only go out together so its fair.

He has now dropped it in that he has another night out planned on 11th Aug with the lads he works with I can't moan though cos he knows that I don't want to go out and leave Jacob yet!!!
