Found out where OH will be placed for work next, so in 2 weeks time we'll be off to Derby...

im still thinking about getting another growth scan done for reassurance, anyone know anywhere that way that can do that? ive found a couple of 4D places but they dont do diagnostic services. I did find one in notts that does a growth scan but at £200!!

It depends on what package you go for though.

If you have already had a reassurance scan have you thought of buying a doppler instead? they are so much cheaper than scans and its nice to have the option to check in on bubba as often as you want to.

i called window to the womb already and they wont do anything diagnostic like a growth scan,

ive already got a doppler, its the growth im concerned about due to the baby being on the small side at previous scans and my lack of weight gain

do the midwifes seem worried about growth? if not, id trust them and go with the flow. It seems like a lot of money to spend and Im sure if there was any cause for concern, they would be keeping a close eye on you?!

Are you in derby for the remainder now or will there be another move for you before your due date?

heles7- being on the move all the time i havent had consistent care and have had have all my scans private as at the relevant times ive not been in my home town . .At my 4d scan at 26 week the sonographer said to keep an eye on the growth as it seemed to have slowed since 20 weeks

the midwife i saw next said dont worry about it ...but now im in another place and another midwife and when they know im in the area just temporary they go on what i tell them and check for visible problems, there isnt anyone really taking full responsibility for mine and my baby's care except me.

theres one more move after this, we'll go back home at 38 1/2 weeks so hopefully i wont pop before then!

Theres the clairemont hospital in sheffield and they charge £100 to £130 last time i checked the website.

Maybe you could get there from derby.
