Has anyone here ever had a filling whilst pregnant, you have to have an anisthetic in mouth? i desperatly need fillings, in soo much pain, but dont think i'm allowed them? got app today so i'll find out.. just wondering before i go... xx

I had a filling a couple of weeks ago without any anasthetic and surprisingly it was fine, every now and then there was a mild twinge, but nothing unbearable.

I had a filling done in jan when pregnant and they numbed my mouth. They just won't give me any x rays whilst pregnant so I should be going back once baby is born for x rays.

If you are in pain they will do it. I've got a load of work like root canal booked for 4 weeks after due date but I'm not in pain so said I would wait. They have said they didn't want to do it before as I would have to be on my back for a long time and that isn't advised.
