Definte spotting 4dpo? what could this be? too early for implantation?

Hi all,

Ive gone to the toilet today and noticed some staining on my underwear. It looks like a light brown and my underwear is a bit wet. what could this be so soon after ovulation. I'm questioning whether the staining is old and they are no longer bright white knickers lol! but I'm sure at least some of its new. Sorry TMI/

I'm questioning whether the staining is from a previous period? but is damp to touch.

That's definitely old blood, which is a good sign that you had a really strong O'n this month. I think it came down the vaginal passage because of the abundance of watery CM. All in all those are really good signs. If you don't get your bfp (I'd be surprised) then at least you know that you are hormonally very healthy and that a bfp should soon be on the cards for you.

I agree with KatD, these look like very good signs to me. I had a lot of watery CM before both of my +ve's and the first time I had very light brown spotting too. And again, repeating what has been said, if it isn't a BFP then it is a very good sign of being healthy

Thanks both. It threw me because it's so soon after my ovulation day and I know that ib is usually after about 7 or 8days . By the end of the day yesterday there was quite a bit more too.
