If so do you know when Frankenstein book 3 is due out? The only reference I can find is that it's due out May 2007 on paperback but nothing about the hardback.... I'm desperate to read it!!

I've read some of his books but I prefer Richard Laymon tbh. I had a look for dean Koontz book & all I found was its out in winter 2007 so maybe its the hardback that comes out in the May???

Arrggh its taking so long :wall: I know that he collaborated with another author on the first 2 but is going alone with the 3rd instalment, which could be why it's taking longer.

The Frankenstein ones are really good, have you read The Outsider? OMG I cried my eyes out at that book!

I haven't read that one. I might get it next time i'm in town :D
I'm reading Cujo by Stephen King and Sharon Osbournes autobiography at the mo. then i've got a 3 in 1 book by Richard Laymon to read.
I just don't seem to get much time to read these days since a certain little person came along!

Who else do you like?

Kina that's SO weird me and OH can't wait for it to come out either and we were talking about it today!

Let me know if you here anything...Shona's waiting for it too.

Who else do you like?
Kathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell (the Scarpetta books), PJ Tracy (though the most recent one was a disappointment, their last book before that was really good). I've not heard of Richard Laymon so will have to have a look. I've read quite a few James Herbert books but he's quite strange lol. Also Tami Hoag, but not read any of hers lately, James someone (can't remember his name at the moment but he's really popular :wall: ). Anything murder mystery like and I'm sorted lol.

Urchin I got the other 2 for my birthday back in April and finished them off quite quickly thinking that the 3rd would be out soon but it's taking so long. As he's going at it alone it better be as good as the other 2!!

 Pfff seems ages since i read a book!! L
Love Dean Koontz but the last on e of his i read was the one with a white cover, the kidnapping one Oh i can't remember what its called but i was PG with Jack

Richard Laymon rocks Nicki, what is the 3 in 1 you have got to read??
I've got loads that i would be more than happy to send to you if you tell me what you haven't read :D

 Sorry that didn't help ith the original Q did it?

We read the first one not even knowing we'd have to wait a ytear for the next one. We literally didn't have a clue till we read the last page.

Then it happened AGAIN, we got the 2nd one, read the whole thing, turned to the last page and it said "To Be Continued" again

I have a few Laymon book, just about every Stephen King book excpet the Dark Tower ones (not sure about them as I've never read one)

I'm currently reading "Primal Fear" by William Diehl, the book that was made into the Richard Gere film...it's really good although I have never seen the movie.

Shona if you're reading this thread, I keep forgetting to ask...how are you getting on with those books I lent you?

Richard Laymon's ok, but I always feel I should be a teenage boy to enjoy them fully. he's got a bit of a breast fixation, hasn't he?

My favourite horror writer is Graham Masterton, can highly recommend his books, and James Herbert is ok.

Do you know, have never met women before who read this stuff? :D
