Dcotors and scans?

Morning girls I might sound mega stupid here! lol but I went to my doc when I was 5 weeks when I was worried about ectopic, he got me a scan at EPAS the same day but couldn't see anything! Went back for scan on Tuesday and saw baby was in the right place but no heartbeat yet. Am I meant to have another appointment with my doctor or anything? Got another scan a week today for check for heartbeat, but what do i do after that? Does EPAS sort 12 week scan? I'm clueless! lol My doc had said to me to let him know how the scan went but I didn't want to phone and get a telephone appointment just to tell him, when theres people looking for telephone appointments who are actually unwell! Just wondering where I go from here xxx

you should just phone the doc and ask to leave a message for him telling him what happened at scan, when youve to go back for next one and, if he needs to see you in the mean time, could he give you a ring back. The receptionist should be able to pass that sort of message on rather than waste a phone appointment i would imagine. Its better letting him know incase he does need to see you about anything else x

when you go to see the midwife for first time they will ring and sort out your 12week scan at the hospital, regardless of the other scans, well thats what they did with me first time with my son,
i only seen the doctor once an that was to tell him i was pregnant an then he referred me to the hozzy for earlie scan, the hozzy have records of it all,
