Hi all

I thought now summer is coming and we'll all be off for days out with our little ones it might be useful to know what the facilities are like at big attractions.
I'd like to go to Alton Towers, and I know beanie is going too, so if anyone goes let us know what it's like!

I'm off to Warwick Castle tomorrow with the in-laws :|

I'll come back and let you all know how it went :)

lol, my friend and i (and ruben too of course) were gonna go to warwick castle a few weekends back, but we thought it was too expensive to get in... so we ended up just wandering around warwick, and having lunch in an italian restaurant (who were happy to let me BF right there at the table i'm pleased to say! no weird looks or anything)

whats warwick castle then?? not heard of it before

am so excited about Alton Towers, hwe usually go once a year but obviously last year I couldn't :? . Nemisis is my fave followed by Air, you have to go on the front, you queue up for a bit longer but it is so worth it. Have fun at Warwick castle.

Great idea for a thread Urchin :D

Ditto!! i can find easier ways to scare my self!!! not my idea of fun at all - gld i''m not the only one

warwick castle is cool :) i havnt been since having babies thou?

sea life centre is great there is a tunnel that you walk through the whole tunnel is glass Dior loved crawling though with the fish swimming underneth and over her. its expensive but fun there is also a soft ball centre there too

Yeah i second the Sea Life, my best mate is an Aquarist there so we get the full guided tour too, OH son loves it (he's 6)
What i love about it is that they rescue animals and then when they are better they go back to their environment. My mate has gone to Gran Canaria this week to release a turtle (what a life!) She can be shopping on a saturday afternoon, get a call and she's rushing off to rescue a seal!

ooo the sea life looks cool!

i might take the kids there this summer, last year we took them to cadbury world and west mid safari park. it was really cool :)

We might go hunstanton one day and take matthew to the sea life center i'm sure he'll love it and once hes older deffo taking him to cadbury world. (thats prob more for me than him!!) I went there last year with the girls from work and its wicked for kids!

Warwick castle was great, but a struggle with the pushchair, we had the sliing aswell, but it was very busy and we had to queue for lots of things.

Brody was very good, and Mason loved climbing the 530 steps to the top of the tower.

There was only 1 baby change room that I saw, and I ended up breastfeeding him sat on a toilet as there were just so many people around and it was a bit chilly outside.

I have LOADS of pics I'll post some later :)

The sea-life centre is excellent, as is the safari park.

My tip for the Safari park though is NOT to go on a hot day unless you have air-con in the car as you have to close the windows alot and it 's really hot in the sun!

YAY pics!
