Argh i am so relieved its all over...
As you know from my last post Amber hasnt been herself, but this morning she woke up after a nice lie in and looked and sounded!! alot perkier...but this afternoon after a bit of a cry etc she started getting this rash all over her body.
We rang docs but they couldnt get her seen till 5.15 which was like 4 hours and this rash was getting redder and spreading so we did the glass test, to be honest i think both me and OH were panicing and were like "there not going!!!" some were and some werent so off we whipped to A and E... thankfully they put her through as urgent and we didnt have to wait long.
She has a virus and the rash is a symtpom of that, he may come and go and thankfully its nothing sinister. I have never felt so frightened as i have for that LONG hour i could see the spots getting redder and more aggressive and spreading everywhere they were even between her toes.
Plenty of TLC for the next few days and keep dosed on Calpol and Nurofen if she and/or rash gets worse take her back. SO no sleep for us be checking her every 2 mins.
Just so glad she is ok. its heartbreaking when they are poorly and she hasnt been herself for 4 days and i knew yesterday when she didnt want her food there was something wrong!!
