Hi

Came across pregnancy forum and was so happy to have found it!
I just turned 18 and i am terrified after unexpectedly falling pregnant. Precautions let us down but i dont believe in abortion so my partner and myself have decided to give this a go.
The whole pregnancy is just starting to kick in now peaches moves (our nickname for the baby haha dont want to be calling him/her "it" ) .
It hasnt been an easy ride so far as i have complications with my blood and peaches but i cant wait to meet my little one now.
Currently on bed rest for a little while so im hoping i can meet some friends on this who understand all mine are currently too busy turning 18 and planning uni!

thank you lol. Well we ended up in hosp on friday night for more blood injections and they did a little scan. Everytime the midwife went to look peaches crossed his/her legs ! We think peaches wants to surprise us so we are just gonna wait did you find out with yours? xx

I got my BFP 3 months after I turned 18 and was also unexpected. I know what you mean about mates being more preoccupied with turning 18 and uni... Can be a real pain!

I didn't with my 1st and it was great not knowing!! I had a feeling it was a girl and she was.
I found out with my 2nd for financial reasons so I knew to buy new things and it was great knowing we were having a boy but if I was to have another I def wouldn't find out!!

I'm 19(fell pregnant at 18) he was a little surprise but can't wait for him to be here now I know what you mean about friends being busy with other things, most of mine are party animals so I'm so glad I found this forum too!

Firstly congratulations! And well I'm turning 23 next weekend and my friends have all finished with uni etc but they are still preoccupied with going out etc, they all seem to meet up in the evenings after I have put Matthew to bed!
If you don't mind me asking, what complications have you been having to be put on bed rest?

hi ippa. Matthew is gorgeous . I have a rare blood type and took a knock to the bump which made me bleed and they worry my blood will mix with the babies so have to get a wee injection every now and again but have to take it easy until the bleeding stops. Also have an erosion of the cervix which also causes me to bleed. It is so annoying though does mean i get spoilt while im being made to rest haha Just worrying everytime i see the blood. Sorry bit of a moan there :L:L
