Daft question - sherry trifle cheesecake

I've got an asda sherry trifle cheesecake in the freezer and I'm craving it like mad. It's safe to eat isn't it? It's only got 1.8% sherry in the whole cake lol.

Funnily enough, just after I posted my hubby pointed out that I'd eaten some mince pies last week with 8% port wine and brandy in them! Guess the sherry trifle cheesecake will definitely be fine then.

Some doctors say we can have a glass of wine per week during pregnancy so a bit of alcohol in cheesecake'll be fine.

iu had some cake with gran marriner in it on boxing day... i didn t chek how much but seen as i coughed with the strength when i bit into it id assume a LOT lol

Sounds yummy. I've been having Christmas cake I was merrily feeding drambuie each week for 2 months, it doesn't taste very boozy though. Also had brandy butter, figured it's like when you cook with wine most of the alcohol is gone just the taste left. I'm more worried about the volume of chocolate I've had when I've totally given up caffeine in everything else.

If it's only 1.8% sherry then it'd barely have any alcohol in the entire cheesecake. Glad you enjoyed it, it sounds yum!

Now chocolate is something I can't possibly give up lol. Ate a whole box of ferrero rocher over Christmas.

Apparently you have to eat a whole pound of milk chocolate to get the same amount of caffeine as in one regular cup of coffee.
