cutting teeth

Hi Keely
It is usually the bottom middle teeth that come first but not all the time. My next door neighbours daughter had her top ones first. Babies can have teething symptoms for months before getting a tooth aswell i'm sorry to say.
When Sam was little, he started with the dribbling, chewing on fists, crying out randomly in pain etc, not nice nappy contents at about 4 months and didn't cut his first tooth until 9 months!
Isabelle also seemed to start some of these symptoms last week and I thought we were going to have the same pattern again but she's calmed down now and is so much happier so think she might have had a bug or something. Maybe Ellis has got the same thing?

oh god!! haha 9months old from 4 months???
Its def teething but i am worried he cant only drink a few ounces for 5 months!!!
I am wondering wether to start weaning him??

I think Olivia maybe teething too! she has been really grumpy over the past couple of days, she gets really upset when i put her down or if i walk away from here when she is sat in her bouncer! she has also started to dribble a lot and she tries to suck on anything that goes near her mouth!
You can aslo see a tooth on the side of her gum its huge, she's had it a while now, we showed the health vistitor it as we where worried and she said it looks like a thang which is unusual because they usually get their front 1s 1st! The health visitor said its looks like a tooth, she said if it is it will come through eventually, but Df and i always wonder if it hurts her! We'll just have to wait and see!

I agree sound slike teething but prob wont cut any teeth for a while yet , usually you will see white dots before they appear. Kiara started teething at 2 months and didnt get her first till 8 months i beleve

this is the tooth i can see in Ellis mouth too I have only seen it quick as he will not keep his mouth open, but that is the side he is always chewing on.

have you tried using bonjela or a teether - on the bonjela website they do great teethers.
Have you tried changing the teat it could be that causing the problems.
usually it is the bottom middle 2 teeth, but they can come through in any order - some are born with teeth!!

Thats a good point about changing the teat Hypnorm. I changed Isabelles last week and she's loads better now so maybe thats helped her a bit. It could be why Ellis isn't eating much Keely cause he's struggling to get the milk out?

Is Ellis ok on the fast flow teats? Olivia's always been on medium flow but i think she is ready for the fast flow ones now as she sometimes cries while taking her feed, i dont think she is getting it fast enough!
I went to buy some but the said from 6 months so it put me off!

Aaron was teething from about 2 months old and cut his first tooth at 6 months. His have come in funny orders! His 1st ones were the normal bottom two but then he got his high fangs then his front teeth now he's got one side bottom and a huge back tooth which must have killed him, it's massive! Now he's got the other side bottom one just poking through and a top back one bulging like mad. They come through where they want
