Hiya

I'm wondering what you lot recommend for giving the boy water..what kind of cups do you use? I did get some tommie tippie ones from mothercare but I can't work out the spout bit and it just pours all over...I think i broke it. Anyway, what do you reckon?

xx

i use the tommy tippee ones and think they're great :)

Hi,

I must have bought every drinking cup on the market and the one our LO likes best is a Tesco's own one. I think it's called a bottle to cup trainner.

It's for 4+ months with 2 handles and holds 5oz. It has a very soft white teat that's easy to drink from but wont spill everywhere. They are not expensive so might be worth a try. I think they are selling at £1.60 just now.

We really should be thinking of moving to a more grown up one but why bother just now if we have found the one he likes.

Same here, TT for us. We use the basic ones with a flip up spout. We also have a Dr Brown cup and it's OK but bulky. A lot of the cups with anti-spill she just couldn't get the sucking right and got peed off when she couldn't get anything out.

We have also tried almost every cup out there!

In the end, her favourite is the TT first cup. Followed by the TT nuby cup.

tommee tippee one here too...just the cheep ones with the flip up spout. :cheer:
The water does pour out but they are easier to use than the spill proof and supposedly better for their teeth if they are drinking anything other than water
My lo gets soaking but she's still learning and is getting better. :D

thanks all

i got a different tt cup before from boots and it seems to be going down fine at the mo
