when zach was first born i made the mistake of never ever putting him down, i held him allllll the time, and just now is he starting to let me put him in his bouncer chair, without being held. but now i feel like i need to be talking to him constantly while he's sat in it, and paying him attention all the time he's awake or i feel so guilty.

should i just let him get on with it himself? i have the fisherprice linkadoo's

so he will quite happily sit and play with the toys hanging down from it, or he has a toy panda that keeps him totally entertained, but i just feel like i should be interacting with him instead of letting him play alone.

If he is happy playing leave him, Es wont play for more than a couple of minutes on her own and its dirving me stir crazy I wish I could get 5 mins. Enjoy it!!

Yeh if he is happy hun then leave him be! He will soon get bored anyways and then you will have no choice but to entertain him! :D heehee

Defo leave him if he's happy! Calum likes to lay on a mat which makes crinkle noises when he kicks his feet so I leave him there when I can!

Agreed, if he's happy to sit on his own, leave him to it.

I find Molly gets annoyed now if I interupt her while she's having a chat with her toys. She lets me know when she's bored and done with the things that don't talk back.
