Crusty Nipples Anyone???

Hi Girls

This is my first pregnancy so this is all a bit new to me so any pearls of wisdom or experience are gratefully received!

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and for the last week or so my nipples have had like a yellow crust right on the tips. It's quite itchy and uncomfortable. I've been showering everyday (as usual) but it's always back the next day.

Has anyone else had this?

Mo, it's just your milk production bits and pieces kicking in already. Some women find it starts earlier, later, it might stop mid-trimester then vanish and re-appear again around 35 weeks or something. Everyone one is different of course and milk production starts in each of us at a different time. It's certainlly not any thing to do with your showering/washing etc, it's just another joy of pregnancy that were not really told about. Relax everything is just fine.

I had this but I thought it was dry skin lol didnt think it could be milk already.

I got this with my first pregnancy and it never went away. I still have it now! It doesn't itch or bother me though.
