Crappy Terminal 5... Grrrr!!!!

My hubby was away for a stag weekend to London and was due to get back at 5pm. His flight was cancelled and British Airways said the next flight they could get him on was 8pm tomorrow but it wasn't guaranteed it would take off due to all the problems they'd been having.

We checked the other airlines and they are booked till tuesday so he is having to get the sleeper train up to Aberdeen with his 2 other mates which has cost them 170 pounds each!!!! The person at the train office said that BA should refund them, but I'm not holding my breath!!!!

Rant over!!!!!!

We had similar problems when Easyjet stranded us in Paris in 2006. They were no help in sorting us out to get home; good job we had the means to pay for the £1000 tickets with airfrance (I kid you not!!!! -£500 each to get from Paris to Manchester! ). We had to hire a car from Manchester airport too to get to Newcastle as there were no direct flights.
We had to chase Easyjet for best part of 6 months, but we did get a refund. Hopefully BA will be quicker at sorting out your expenses.
