CP CM and charts HELP! (tmi alert)

grr i am all confused again i thought i'd sussed it with the charts

i just stuck my finger up my foof to see what my CP was, i *think* its higher than the previous days, but not sure whether this means its classed as "high". i kind of thought "high" would be when i couldnt even find it. previous days iv been putting middle finger in up to second knuckle and putting "medium" on my chart. well i had to get the entire length in to find it today is that high do u think?

and the firm/medium/soft, i understand firm is like nose and soft is like lips- what is medium? i cant decide if mine is medium or firm still

and to top it all off, when i'd finished rummaging around my finger had a little bit of goo on the end, which looked a bit creamy, but when i stretched it between my fingers it stretched about 2 centimetres. and there was hardly any of it, well for me anyway, i am quite a snail i make LOTS of goo i NEVER have dry days

so now i dont know whether to record CM as "creamy" or eggwhite. i would say creamy but its stretchy creamy does that matter?

I have no idea about the firm/medium high/medium thing. I guess it depends on how you change over a month. I am still trying to figure it out.

I am the opposite of a snail and today had lots of creamy/watery. it's like a cross between the two but doesn't stretch so I had no idea what to put

Does it feel softer than 'firm' (i.e. softer than yesterday?). If you're not sure just put medium. You don't want to miss a fertile day and end up preggo DO YOU

Also when you check CP are you sitting/standing in the same position each time? I was really surprised at how much more easily I could reach mine when sitting on the loo. Maybe cos you're not concentrating so hard on balancing

oh no, i wouldn't want that! *sigh* seriously, tho i must be good this month. boyf wont be impressed if i get it wrong! tbh, i'm thinking i am NOT fertile right now but will probably be getting near to the window, and havent had sex for a few days so i should try and squeeze enough of it in to last me until i am "safe" again! i should probably get while i still can shouldnt i!

ok well i had a HUGEEEEEEEEEE blob of snail trail earlier- it was clear but had creamy streaks in it (sorry tmi!) and was stretchy. so i updated my chart to eggwhite and now iv gone from red light not fertile to green light most fertile
does this mean i cant have sex now?

ooo this is confusing - I dunno how to read my CM. I know I will start to get loads in the next few days, but what is what I dunno so I can't help I am afraid...

Is mostly clear, stretchy with creamy streaks classed as EWCM?

I wish I could advise - I never got half this snot before I had Nicola anyway - I don't think.

Creamy will feel like lotion and be white. This doesn't necessarily mean that it won't stretch, but it won't stretch far.
Wet will be very watery and may or may not be stretch, but it won't be as thick as EWCM. It could be clear or streaky.
EWCM will be the consistancy of raw eggwhite. It will likely be mostly clear but may have some white streaky bits in it.

Trixi, it will be difficult to tell the difference between firm, medium & soft and the differences between low, medium and high until you've been doing it for a couple months. Unfortunately everyone is different, so there's no right or wrong answer in general. To make things more difficult, your cervix is likely to soften after bd. It tends to be best to check first thing in the morning.

Right, here goes,

CP, everyone is different so your get to know whats what over the month. I put mine as high when I have to put my whole finger up there and I can just feel it with the tip. Medium usually to 2nd knuckle and my low is just under the medium. I have had it disappear (had a good feel that day and still couldn't find it but had fun ) so put that as high too.
As for the feel of it, hard - mine still had a softish edge, medium slightly squiggy to touch, soft - feels like you could put your finger in it
Same as closed, medium, open, closed I could feel a little slit like an old cut, medium it felt more squiggy and like an openish cut and longer and open as babyblonde put it one day, like a ringed doughnut

Now CM.
I do have a little trouble too with this one as I dont get a lot of EWCM. But as your like a snail (loved that btw) then your def looking for the really eggwhite clear stretchy cm as your fertile days. If like me, mine stays creamy looking, but does go a little stretchier at my fertile time.
