I am sure I was told (or read) somewhere that you can use cows milk once they reach 6months with food (not as a drink). I have been using cows milk the last week or so to mix with Ellie's banana porridge. I don't think she noticed the switched (I got fed up of expressing, I have to do it 3 times a day now for her nursery feeds).

HV advised me that you should use cows milk once they are a year old due to allergy type stuff.

I have been giving Olivia full fat cows milk in her breakfast since she was 6 months my HV says its fine as long as its full fat

I breastfed until a month ago (my little monkey is 11 months old today) and I used formula to prepare her cereal instead of cow's milk. We'll switch at 12 months...

My mum said something to me about cows milk the other day after 3 months and I said no I'd read it was 12 months and she laughed and said it was yet another thing they had changed from when we were kids as it was 3 months back then lol

My HV told me just last week i can start using cows milk in cereal and sauces etc for Alastair
