Could this be start of labor????????????????

I have what I thort was wind but am unsure.
My back is killing me but some times when I move it just stops.
Is this just wind.
There are no pains around the front but my stomach keeps going hard.
This has been going on for about 3 hrs.
Any idea???????????????

early labour could give you backache but as it changes when you move position i'd say its probably braxton hicks and possibly the baby is leaning on a nerve in your back when you get tightenings..
contractions will def stay with you whatever position you are in..
and i dont know about others but i definitely got pain in my tummy with each tightening..unlike braxton hicks which feel more uncomfy than painful!

have a nice bath and some paracetomol..see if it eases off..if it gets worse then time the pains and see how you go!

Ditto what fran has said. Contractions would stay whatever position.

I think i have similar to you and im not sure what is going on
Im 37 weeks and i sometimes have what i can describe as just stomach cramps but it feels like wind atthe same time. Or when i go to the toilet i have pain and sometimes after aswell although i feel ok at the minute but when i move i can feel a bit of pressure. Im not sure if it is anything or not. Its very confusing lol i wouldnt know if it was BH or labour or what coz it feels similar to a dodgy bowel movement pain type thing I dunno
I guess it could be anything, we both could just have wind i had a chinese last night.
