cooking question :-)

My freezer door didn't shut properly when i got some ice out earlier and i didn't notice for about an hour
anyway i had some fresh chicken in there that obviously i can't refreeze so i took it out and intended to make
a chicken korma tonight but my mate bought me some food round a while ago and i can't be arsed to cook that..am i able to put the chicken in the fridge until tommorow? the use by date isn't up yet or anything!

oh good thanks i am a dumbass- still not as bad as my best friend who thinks its ok to put opened tins in the fridge! lol
