Tonight I fancy doing strips of roast chicken in a thick gravy, topped with mashed tatties (with veg on side) yumyum!!

Any ideas how to get a nice thick tasty gravy? I'll be using Bisto methinks, no juices from chicken left

And I'm making tattie soup later mmmmmmmmmm the hoose is gonna smell good later on!!

My mouth is watering, if you're not counting calories then I like to fry an onion til soft in butter, add a chicken stock cube and a little water, mix to a paste, add a teaspoon of marmite (unless you're a hater!) and slowly add water and bisto til the consistency is right. If you're really feeling posh then add a glug of white wine and reduce it after, onions have softened-reallly intensifies the taste.
Enjoy!
