convulsions

Is it very obvious when a baby is having a convulsion??

My lo has just woke up crying and i bounced gently him back to sleep again and as he was going back to sleep his head kept nodding for a few seconds and his arm was waving around.

Do you think it was just a muscle spasm or something or a convulsion?

God I havent a clue? Might just have been the little jerks you get as you nod off to sleep.

I think convulsions are usually accompanied by a high temperature so if he feels normal it probably wasn't a convulsion. If you're worried get him checked out though, it's better to be on the safe side.

He seems fine and he wasnt to hot last night so i think it was probably just jerky moves before sleep.
