Contractions post c section

I'm booked in for an elective section with this my second baby in at 39 weeks. However I'm convinced (rather terrified!) I will start to go into labour early on my own. I'm currently a very large 35 weeks.

After my previous section I don't have a huge amount of sensation near my scar or in the lower part of my stomach. I've had a few period type sensations recently but nothing I would say was BH or proper contractions. With my first all BH and contractions started in my back.

I'm just wondering other ladies who've had sections how much you feel? What did your contractions feel like compared to previously? Did it make any difference?!

I've not had a section but didn't want to read and run. Hopefully you won't go in to labour before 39 weeks, it's not highly likely, just because you're big doesn't mean anything. I was huge with DD and she was days late.

I'm sure you'll know if you do start getting contractions or see any other signs of labour, in which case get on to the midwives for advice asap x
