contractions last night??

Morning!!
Well. From 9.30pm until 2.30pm, my uterus was contracting like mad, I had so much pressure down below and baby was going mental. The first two tightenings, I actually screamed, they were that strong!!! I was giving myself until 2am then going to start timing then BUT they stopped!!! Omg, if they were Braxton's, how on earth am I gna cope with labour??!! Or do you think my cervix has started to dilate?! Got a sweep booked for Mon x

I asked about this on Monday at the hospital and the mw said every contraction helps. Didn't know tesco's does labour now lol. Are you taking epo to help your cervix soften? I've been having contractions on and off ince Friday but nothing to time as yet. Hoping that at my sweep on Monday I am 10 cm dilated lol.....we can only dream huh xxxxxxxxx

No I'm not taking epo - maybe I should get some today? Oooh we both have our sweep on Mon. I'm really not fancying it and hope I go before then!! It just felt like the baby was trying to headbutt her way out - I was jumping around like an idiot!! Going to a works party tonight - you never know, the loud music may cause a bit more action!!! X

It's worth taking the epo. I dunno if I'm relishing the thought of the sweep, although the way I felt on Monday I wouldn't have cared if they'd shoved a loud speaker up my foof and shouted at Albert to get a move on lol. I'm hoping for over the weekend xxxxxxxx

Maybe this is your uterus doing a warm up? Its so frustrating in these last few days isn't it?

Ha ha - this process is mad. Just spoke to labour ward as they were getting a bot too hot to handle. Basically I'm the latent phase of labour and can be for up to 48 hrs - told me to go for a walk! And guess what? Its all died down again now! X

When does your area do sweeps Tor? Mine are meant to be not before 41 weeks in the community but the consultant is going to do it because of my pain levels. Get down to triage and have a breakdown xxxxxxxxx

I'm having one the day after you guys. Though in my notes it says not strictly until after 41 weeks I think so they are sneaking me one early.
