When do we need to worry about contraception? ?
Weve started having sex
Im 17 days post partum, breastfeeding and have very lil pv loss which stops an starts xx

Then what to chose? Dont want to go on pill - react badly to implant previously x have blood pressure issues post pre eclampsia so nothing that'll effect that xx

We didnt use anything but we were planning children close together, I was BFing and it took 9 months for.my period to come back,.however, its not super reliable.

I.would use barrier methods until you chat to GP/family planning. I know lots of ladies have IUD if.they dont get on with hormonal contraception. I am looking into it after baby number 2

I had my 6 week check last week, and the doc must have said10 Times that you can still get pregnant while breastfeeding. And she was very keen for me to start with some contraception, so I would say asap.

yeah you're better off getting something. My friend has two boys who are 10 months apart and she was exclusively breast feeding.
