My midwife discussed that MH pregnancy may be consultant lead due to the fact I have PCOS and conceived using clomid, did anyone else have this for these reasons, or did you just carry on seeing your midwife? Xx

Hi Chrissi, I will be consultant led due to mild pcos (and very low egg reserve) and conceiving using fertility drugs and iui. My midwife said it was just a formality and I would likely only see the consultant once assuming all goes well. Not sure when I'll see them, got my 12wk scan on the 8th but nothing about the consultant. Finally think I'm getting more excited than worried about this pregnancy, been a long 4 years to get to this stage!!!

Mine is consultant led due to pcos and my history of miscarriage . I think there's an extra blood test at 28 weeks too for glucose as pcos can increase the risk of gestational diabetes x

Kew I know how you feel! I wasn't able to have much fertility treatment as I'm too young :( but they gave me clomid and fortunately that worked on the 6th and last round! After almost 3 years. Thankyou xx

Oh sorry to hear that birds, how many miscarriages have you had if you don't mind me asking? I had one about 18 months ago, thennothing until now :)
Yeah midwife gave me blood forms today for the glucose testing mine is at 12 weeks, then repeated later on I think. Thanks for sharing xx
